1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Innuce (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Innuce is a browser extension and web application that provides AI-powered summarization of YouTube videos. The Service allows users to generate summaries of video content using credits.

3. Eligibility

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years old.
If you are under 13, you may not use Innuce.
If you are between 13 and 18 (or the age of majority in your country), you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must sign in with a third-party provider, currently Google or Apple.
We do not offer standalone account registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials with these providers. If your Google or Apple account is compromised, it may affect your access to Innuce.

5. Payment and Billing

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits can be purchased through our payment provider, Stripe.
All payments are final. Except where required by law, credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We reserve the right to change pricing, bundles, or credit policies at any time. Changes will not affect credits already purchased.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

For any unlawful purpose or in violation of YouTube's Terms of Service.
To infringe upon or violate intellectual property rights.
To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, or intimidate others.
To submit false or misleading information.
To attempt to reverse engineer, bypass usage limits, or disrupt the Service.
To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code.

7. Third-Party Services

Innuce relies on third-party providers, including YouTube and large language model (LLM) services.
We have no control over these providers and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms.
Your use of YouTube remains subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Innuce and its licensors.
You retain ownership of any content you submit, but grant us a license to use, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. Your use of the Service is also subject to the Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Innuce, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, reliability, or suitability of summaries generated by the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
